Tom Burba -Sandan, 3rd Degree Black Belt

Tom has been studying karate at Tracy's since he was 6 years old.  He received his Black Belt and started teaching in January 2005. 

Tom has won numerous UKA Grand Champion titles in his nearly five years fighting as black belt. In December of 2006, Tom was awarded his checkered Gi: the highest honor a tournament figher can achieve. He went on to earn the title of midwest champion in his lightweight division for the 2007 and 2008 tournament seasons. .

After taking a break from tournaments during the 2009 season, he is excited to compete in 2010. Tom is a full time instructor at Tracy's Karate and enjoys working with adults and children alike.
