Aimee started her training in 1992 and received her black belt on March 19, 1999. 

As a brown belt Aimee started to compete in tournaments.   She won 1st place in every tournament she competed in as a brown belt.  Aimee placed 1st in the St. Louis Budweiser Open for three years in a row.  (Last year in the black belt division.)  She was seated as the #2 fighter for light middle weight in the NBL CAN-AM.  Aimee also placed 3rd in the US Open in Florida.

Aimee was awarded the Checkered Gi in June 2000.  The Checkered Gi is worn only by the top fighters at Tracy's Karate.

Aimee began her teaching career in 1998.  Aimee was promoted to Yodan, 4th Degree Black Belt on June 8th, 2008.
